I have been playing with the beta for Lotus Symphony and would like to know if there is a way to undock the document tabs at the top. "Why!?!" you say? Well I work in a multiple monitor environment and sometimes would like to have an excel / word document open on different monitors.
In IBM's latest Lotus Symphony, how do you undock document tabs at the top? Or can you?
To the best of my knowledge the tabs are restricted to the single window interface and it is not possible to view a tab in a separate window on a different monitor.
In fact, it is not possible to open a Symphony window for a word document, then open another window for a spreadsheet document. They always open in the same window - no multiple instances - it's all one program and one window.
Seems like a big restriction to me.
