Wats so good about the lotus??
i dont know which lotus you are talking about but i will assume that you mean the elise or the exige (there are fairly similar).

the lotus is not the fastest car in the world but, yes, it is pretty quick. i dont know the exact top speed but, thats not what the car really is for. it is built mostly for handling and acceleration; its a really lightweight car.

it is also mostly a track car, i dont even think that air conditioning is stock.

its not that expensive, only about $45,000, yet it can compete with cars 5 times that price.
Reply:first of all, it is about drive, not comfort. and it is not expensive. if you like to enjoy pure driving experience, go for it, it is light with decent HP (around 200), but feel like really sport car
Reply:Any lotus can be defined as one thing and one thing only. A pure sports car. I possess nothing that does not aid in its ability to corner, brake, and accelerate. Although the new ones are more comfortable than the past models, they are still the same principle. A light, nimble, efficient vehicle designed to give the driver the utmost control and feeling during driving. Lotus, MG, Austin Healey, Triumph, TVR, and Morgan all followed the same principles. 50/50 weight distribution "or close to it", disc brakes, close ratio transmissions, small displacement high rev engines, and rack and pinion steering. Lotus's newest models are a modern interpretation of the old rules. Small, nimble, aggressive! When you buy a Lotus, you are paying for the unimaginable ammount of research and design engineering that was needed to produce what can only be described as one of the few pure sports cars being produced today.
