Alternative to Lotus and Domino?

My company is fed up with Lotus and Domino, anyone know alternative software that has wroked for you or you company to replace it?

Alternative to Lotus and Domino?
While I'm not very familiar with any in particular and my experience with Notes/Domino is quite limited to tech support on very few issues, I can make some suggestions on Open Source alternatives.

Yoga, Casbah and GNU Gather are reviewed in the following article from 1999, although it appears that all of these projects have been abandoned.

Zimbra is probably the best possibility.

A basic comparison to domino:

Some non-integrated suggestions are made here:

Other possibilities might include a CRM/ERP package, but they may not include some primary features and generally could be overkill. If you want to look into this there are links provided to a few such systems at the page linked below under sources.

A proprietary alternative is Share360.

Reply:If your company uses a Lotus Domino infrastructure for e-mail only, you can use a variety 3rd party Linux e-mail clients that support either the POP or IMAP protocols. Some Linux e-mail clients you might want to consider include Ximian Evolution, Mozilla Mail and KDE Kmail.

There are also many Instant Messaging (IM) client choices for Linux desktops such as GAIM, Kopete, Ayttm and Eb-Lite. These clients let you choose from a number of instant messaging protocols including MSN, Yahoo, AIM (TOC), IRC and Jabber. To my knowledge, none of these IM clients directly support Lotus' SameTime protocol.
