How to convert structured text from lotus notes into csv??

Hi,

I have some ( actually a lot of) data which has been exported as structured text from a lotus notes database and I need to convert it into csv(comma seperated values) format.

Do you know a program or a method to do that?

Thanks

i am assuming by structured text you mean fixed-width data structure, if so is the case, you can do it easily with Microsoft Excel,

open your file with Excel and goto Data-%26gt; Text To Column.

this will popup a menu, then select fixed width (the 2nd choice) and hit next, in the 2nd step you'll now have to define where one fields starts and ends.

The following link is a very good tutorial of MS Excel, text to column.

once you've parsed the file (made differnt fields appear in different columns), go ahead and save your file AS .csv file.

try it and see if it helps. Best of luck
