I hope if signifying maturity your are not somewhere in your teens and may regret this later. At any rate I have a parrot tattoo (Jimmy Buffett) that I waited many years to get. Have it put on your shoulder in the back that way you can enjoy it and not have it in your way as you progress career wise. Many people have a HUGE problem with tattoos. I have mine where it is appreciated and does not have to be covered on a daily basis. I do have my own thought for people who say you are defaming your body as I feel that tatts are a painting of who you are. I tell them "I am not defaming Gods temple, I am adding stained glass windows." Get it windows to the soul. Just make sure you get it done at a CLEAN tattoo parlor by a professional artist and TAKE CARE OF IT. It will hurt for while but for me it was worth it.

Reply:The only one that can with this 1 is u...u have to live with it 4ever and it needs to be very personal. I have 3 tatts and I love each of them but just remember if u aren't too good with pain...stay away from bones (they hurt more) and 1 side of your body can withstand more pain than the other. So pluck your eyebrows and figure out which side hurts the most and choose the otherside of your body to have your tattoo.

Reply:My father has two lotus blossoms on each hip bone. They look really nice, the white and yellow contrast greatly to the reds and purples and golds of the tatts that surround them. I hope I'm the one to recieve his skin someday.
