The West respect Buddhism and Lotus Sutra very much. However, because of half-mistake that is even not proven, they desided to abandon the votary of the Lotus Sutra, to advertise his mistakes and to insult him publicly. Are such people truly followers of Buddhism? To me they appear as enemies of Buddhism.
What if you abandon the votary of the Lotus Sutra and start looking for another votary of the same sutra?
Buddhism is about practical philosophy and adhering to moral precepts not forms of theology-followers of Buddhism are those who practice the moral code set out by the Buddha.
