I think Lotus's are the best cars on the road....?

I love Lotus's, they are cool and fun to drive. They are usually driven by nice people, not obnoxious idiots like other car brands. I was harrassed by a Porsche owner the other day, pretentious idiot.





What is your favourite car brand and why?

I think Lotus's are the best cars on the road....?
The Lotus Elise is definitely a very good enthusiast's car. They are light, stiff and fast. Their engines are sourced extremely reliable and cheap to fix. The only drawback is how difficult they are to get into unless you're limber and under 6 ft tall.





But you can't judge a person by their car. I know jerks who drive everything from Aston Martins to Ferraris. Corvettes, especially, are stigmatized. I can name three or four "jerks" in every car club I know, but I can name three times the number of cool people.





The clubs are good places to be because none of the nasty idiots are welcome at gatherings, so you get the core good people to talk with.





I like Ferrari and Alfa Romeo because they're wonderful to drive, and the people in our regional clubs are good company. And great drivers!

My favourite is Land Rover, they defy all class boundaries, and stereotypes, and can do so much more than the average car. They're driven by everybody, farmers, soldiers, working class, middle class, even up to the Queen. Truly a car for everybody, probably the least elitist vehicle in the world, making them probably the classiest!

Reply:Lotus is nice, but has a harsh ride and it is not for everyday use. It is not practical and has no trunk space or many features.





My favorite car brand is actually Porsche. Lotus does handle better, but Porsche is just as fun to drive, has a higher top speed, has more features and electronics, has the same or better gas mileage, and they are more comfortable.

Lotus is not the best car brand on the road, I could name 10 other brands off the top of my head that are better.
