Car ideas?? lotus? answers quick!?
Is the lotus your dream car? Because if that is what you have been wanting, then you should follow your heart.
Reply:Dream on buddy.
Reply:The lotus Elise is a fun car to drive and even if you have enough money to buy one, the insurance and maintemance would be very expensive. you will not be able to buy a new Lotus with $40,000, but You could buy one if it is at least 2 years old. It is hard to find a place that knows how to fix them.

The lotus elise is one of the best handling cars and one of the lightest. It weighs about 1500ibs. less than most cars. The Lotus Elise actually feels like a street legal go-cart. It has fast acceleration but a small top speed. 143mph. 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. It has the Toyota Celica 190HP engine so it is reliable.
Reply:i would get an audi TT
Reply:First take a test drive. This is a very unique car so you need to make sure you love it. It's all about driving, no creature comforts at all, although the seats are superbly comfortable.

The downside is that after you test drive it, if you love it you'll no longer want one, you'll *need* one. There is nothing like it!

Get the elise, you can find a used one in the US for a little over 30 K. The extra 10 K you have should keep you going for quite a few years of service bills. Parts are toyota, so relatively cheap to service. A lot of owners actually do their own servicing.

Chek out www.elisetalk.com for a very informative of Lotus owners, mostly in the US with a bunch of cars to sell.

Go for it mate! By be warned it will spoil all other sportcars for you except for the very best - that includes all but the priciest porches.
